About the Course

The Procurement & Supply Assistant Level 3 programme develops the practical skills and knowledge needed to support procurement and supply functions within organisations. You’ll learn how to assist with sourcing and purchasing goods and services, work with suppliers, and support internal teams in managing procurement activities. This programme is suited to people working in, or aspiring to work in, procurement or supply roles across public, private and third-sector organisations.

  • Supplier Sourcing & Management: Support supplier selection, maintain supplier records and work with stakeholders to build productive relationships.


  • Quotation & Tender Support: Assist with obtaining and evaluating quotes and tender responses.


  • Purchase Order Processing: Process and monitor purchase orders and help manage the purchase-to-pay cycle.


  • Responsible Procurement: Apply ethical and responsible procurement practices, including sustainability considerations.


  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.


  • Professional Behaviours: Develop teamwork, reliability and problem-solving skills valued in procurement and supply roles.

Requirements

  • Computer & Internet Access: A laptop or desktop with reliable internet access for learning and assessment activities.


  • Workplace Role: Ideally you’re already working in a role where you can practise procurement and supply tasks and gather real-world evidence.


  • English & Maths: A suitable level of English and mathematics is useful; if not already at Level 2, you may need to achieve this as part of the programme.


  • No Specific Age Restriction: The programme is open to learners of all ages and career stages seeking to build procurement capability.
